MEET CINDY - Sex Therapist in Los Angeles

As a body-centered psychotherapist specializing in sex therapy, my mission is to help my clients navigate their sexual and relationship struggles with a focus on mind-body integration. My training, including EMDR work for trauma-related issues, enables me to assess the whole person so that physical, mental and emotional healing is possible.

I learned to face my own fears sitting on the couch as a client in individual and couples therapy. It lead me to finding more joy, courage and aliveness in myself and in the world. The inspiration of my personal journey led to my professional calling as a therapist to help others discover their true potential for living a life filled with connection and meaning.

As an AASECT certified sex therapist, I work using a sex positive lens that includes everything from gender expression, monogamy, consensual kink to sexual compulsivity. Where you land on that spectrum and how it supports your overall health and self-expression are what we can explore together. My role is to partner with you to help you successfully reach your goals. A central focus of my practice is to assist my clients in embodying and listening to their true selves.

As a sex therapist in Los Angeles, I have grown to love working with couples. Learning how to whole-heartedly trust, love and play with your partner is one of the scariest and most rewarding gifts we get to experience. Although I continue to attend trainings and keep current on new research, my biggest learning has been being in relationship with my intimate partner of 23 years. My office is located in the Beverlywood / Culver City adjacent area of Los Angeles, California.
